Technology
Imagine a customized helmet, taylor made to your head. Or even better: An autofitting system, which self-adapts to the shape of your skull.
Thanks to the ARC and our “VACO 12 TECHNOLOGY”, this theory became reality: The traditional inner foam padding got replaced by a selfadapting vacuum cushion, filled with expanded polypropylene balls in conjunction with a rigid shell.
By putting the helmet onto your head, you automatically press out the air and evacuate the cushion. The balls can’t move anymore, your helmet is moulded around your head.
VACO 12 TRANSMISSION OF FORCE
Energy is not transferred in a linear way, but in all directions along random load inverters.
The VACO 12 globes give away, causing energy to be undone by friction and deformation.
CONVENTIONAL FOAMS
Compressed foams react in a similar way to solid materials - they transfer energy in a straight line.
Energy is passed on to the structure lying below point by point. The impact energy is reduced and spread over a wide area.
