CORE SCIENCE

HEXO2 CORE TECHNOLOGY

Take a Helio P15 wood core, cut out swing weight where necessary and replace it with a honeycomb structure made from recycled paper. The result is the lightest shred our factory has ever produced with virtually zero swing weight.

WEAVING WISDOM

HEX MAT GLASS EPOXYD MATRIX

Prepreg biax specially developed for our Hexo2 technology. Arrives at the factory in a freezer truck and reacts at room temperature. The best option to control glue dosage, save weight and waste by minimizing resin surplus. Mixed with our Hexo2 cores = Light!

HEX MAT GLASS EPOXYD MATRIX

HEX MAT CARBON GLASS EPOXYD MATRIX

Longitudinal glass fibers provide proper elasticity throughout the entire flex curve. [attention: “elastic” does not mean “soft”!!!] Latitudinal carbon fiber increases torsional rigidity, which results in a snappier more aggressive ride.

HEX MAT CARBON GLASS EPOXYD MATRIX
featured skis:

GLASSFIBER LIGHT BIAX

Glassfiber will always be a more forgiving way to build a snb or ski. We utilize a highly durable biax-glass for a perfect torsional/longitudinal flex ratio. This gives our snbs and skis a feel that riders simply love.

GLASSFIBER IMPACT BIAX

Sliding rails, bonking trucks, or jibbing tourists. Riding nowadays calls for a new definition of “durability”. Impact Biax Glass makes our toys more durable without making 'em rigid or deadening the snap needed for popping ollies!

V-POP CARBON STRINGER

4 carbon strands reinforcing the power transfer from your feet to the board. This results in tons of torsional response where it's needed - amplifies edge precision, turn acceleration, and ollie pop.

FLY TIPS

By leaving out the core and TPU spacer material we are able to taper down the tip profile and reduce weight to a minimum. The result is the most playful nose and tail the world has ever ridden!

FLY TIPS
featured boards:

T.P.U. SPIN TIPS

To facilitate spinning we've reduced the weight by utilizing TPU tip spacers in all our nonfly- tip snbs and skis. Set a 7 and you end up going 12!

MC BEZIER SPLINE SIDECUT

MC? Mathematically Correct. All our snb and ski shapes are designed in a 3D CAD program in Bezier-mode instead of simple radius. The result is a “physically” correct snb or ski, which definitely rides better.

STOMP GUARD

A weightless strip of Titanium- Aluminum alloy strategically placed where it's needed. Under foot! Prevents shark bites and edge breakage caused by rocks and other debris. Lab tests show and increased edge impact strength of 215% over

ABUSE BASE TECHNOLOGY

A metal matrix behind a sintered Hyper Dense Base III distributes and subsequently lowers the heat that occurs from sliding rails and boxes. The Abuse Base material allows the base molecules to quickly return to their original state. Heat deformation is history!!!

TWINBEVEL SIDEWALLS

To protect the topsheet from chipping, all ski sidewalls are milled in two separate processes. This adds a “buffer” to protect the topsheet from taking a beating. [Sidewall material is more resistant than topsheet material]

TWINBEVEL SIDEWALLS
featured skis:

22° SLANTED ABS SIDEWALLS

All snb sidewalls feature a 22° slant for maximum edge control and tuning. Physically this angle is the best solution against shark bites and rails dings. 22° = fewer blown out edges and better power transmission!!!

22° SLANTED ABS SIDEWALLS
featured boards:

MAGMA EDGE SHOCK ABSORBER

A thin Polyurethane rubber strip between the edge and sidewall. Swallows shock and vibration for stability while haulin' ass and stomping landings. A better, more controlled ride.

P.L.T. GLOSS UV COATING

Like bling? This is a topsheet finish at its “blingest”. Our crackproof, environmental friendly UV coating turns the topsheet into a mirror. Use it to make sure you're always looking good on hill!

featured boards:

360° WRAP AROUND STEEL EDGE

Instead of heavy tip protectors or oldschool anti-delam rivets we wrap extra-hardened steel edges 360° around our snbs. The result is a more durable lightweight construction.

360° WRAP AROUND STEEL EDGE
featured boards:

HORSESHOE STEEL EDGE

To minimize the tension of bent metal being forced around a narrow radius all our ski tips and tails feature pre-shaped “horseshoe” edges. Annoying nose delam issues are history.

DOOMSDAY CAMBER

To improve longevity of camber, reverse or traditional, we use pre-stretched fibers in all our weavings! Land on your tail 500 times or take 50,000 turns. Your snb or skis will still have its original camber!
