SNOWBOARD

What is the reason that you are sitting here, answering those questions?
The decision I made years ago to go snowboarding.

Do you want to be asked silly questions, or intelligent ones?
Fifty-fifty

OK, so here you go: Tell me how many hats you have in your home?
0

What separates a good rider from a mediocre one?
Mental strength

What tricks are you currently working on?
Top secret stuff.

Why am I asking you these questions?
You tell me.

Where does this sport carry us in the near future?
Slopestyle is now an Olympic discipline. Everything will become more and more professional. I hope that there is no more full, double, full, full culture coming up. But snowboarding was always going it´s own way and it always will be.

How will tricks and equipment look like in the year 2100?
Like the skateboard M.J. Fox is riding in back to the future… because snow will be gone… the tricks will look like on your Playstation. So go out and ride it as long as you can.

What is your current product setup?
Hidef in contests and paradigma for powder.

What days will be highlighted in your upcoming agenda?
Deep powderdays

Any new video- or photoprojects?
Still having some projects with photographer Christian Waldegger. Mog production´s “the reality” is coming up. Last winter I built up my own splitboard so now I am ready for Expeditions!

Here some quickshot psycho questions: Cat or dog?
Cat

Meat or salad?
Meat

Cinema or DVD?
Cinema

Park or powder?
powder

Snow or beach?
Snow

Cocktail or beer?
Beer

Cereal or bacon?
Cereal

Tell us about one of your worst habit or quality?
Sometimes I push too hard and a easy walk can end up in total darkness somewhere in the woods or mountains. But I do know the point when you have to turn back that everybody is safe.

Do you google yourself?
no

What was the funniest incident in your life as a pro so far?
To fly to the US and back 3 times in one week this winter was way cheaper than changing the existing one. The fun part was the conversations I had at the airport.

If you are a god what would you do to the world?
Stop hunger and global warming.

Which super power would you like to have and why?
No one, I am already overextended in controlling the power I have ;)

If you are given a chance to travel past where would you go and specifically why?
I would travel back in the days when it was snowing over 1m without influence of wind.

What will you do if you have million dollars cash with you?
That ´s way too theoretical!

Now that this interview is done, what will you do next?
Falling asleep and dreaming about snowboarding.

Thank you for your time.
