SNOWBOARD

What is the reason that you are sitting here, answering those questions?
Lucky enough to be a member of the ARC. Just doing the little you guys ask in return for rocking your radical gear.

Do you want to be asked silly questions, or intelligent ones?
Silly questions often provide for more intelligent answers… or so I like to think

OK, so here you go: Tell me how many hats you have in your home?
Many, all random. I loose hats way too fast to keep any sort of collection. If i were to collect hats I think I would acquire a nice set of cowboy hats

What separates a good rider from a mediocre one?
Natural talent, hard work, dedication, great attitude. A lot of the time I prefer riding with people who may not be total slayers but just enjoy themselves on the mountain. Some people take themselves far too seriously

What tricks are you currently working on?
Had a ton of fun this season working on old trick with new grabs. Gives stunts a whole new feeling and opens doors to whole new ways of chucking myself through the air.

Why am I asking you these questions?
For some reason you hook me up with these epic snowboards, the least I can do i answer some questions!!!

Where does this sport carry us in the near future?
Hopefully away from triple corks and energy drink contracts… Am I the only one sick of snowboarders acting like NFL players? I mean come on...

How will tricks and equipment look like in the year 2100?
Sadly, probably more triple corks and designer outerwear. But you'll still catch me tossing methods in my low profile high quality northface gear with a massive smile on my face!!

What is your current product setup?
159 UNW8 with the Balance binder. Lightest most responsive set up that has ever graced my feet!!!

What days will be highlighted in your upcoming agenda?
Northface masters series will undoubtedly be another epic adventure! Winter break in jackson hole brings me loads of joy. And if the stars align a jaunt across the pond to ride them alps!s

Any new video- or photoprojects?
Bluebird movie/whatever me and my friends can get done

Here some quickshot psycho questions: Cat or dog?
Dog! Cats are for old smelly people…

Meat or salad?
haha Meat!!! I don't understand vegetarians, lets grill up some steaks

Cinema or DVD?
Cinema, film has artistic value. DVD will be replaced by a new technology as fast as VHS was

Park or powder?
POWDER!!! best way to ditch the scene. White wave for life!!!

Snow or beach?
Snow for days

Cocktail or beer?
Lately its all about the Mr. Chill cocktail. half whiskey, then split the next half with albertsons brand Mt. chill and Dr. Chill. The chronomancer showed me the light you could say. Dirt crew for life

Cat or dog?
Same question twice? Curveball, Cats! they're low maintenance and highly respected in ancient egyptian mythology

Cereal or bacon?
Bacon for breakfast lunch and dinner. cant go wrong

Tell us about one of your worst habit or quality?
oh god this is getting personal! Probably fall short of my potential to get things done on and off my snowboard. I could work harder

Do you google yourself?
i certainly have…..

What was the funniest incident in your life as a pro so far?
After party at the kirkwood masters last year. Fabrizio is the best party musician of all time, there is no song he cant play. you really had to be there to understand the sheer glory

If you are a god what would you do to the world?
Expand the globe! As in make the planet bigger. More people would fit, more awesome places to explore. Also, a conveniently placed moon of infinite clean resources for us to tap into without rapeing our own zone. But that is just incredibly unrealistic

Which super power would you like to have and why?
Time traveler!!! Otherwise known as the Chronomancer

If you are given a chance to travel past where would you go and specifically why?
Old west days! exploring the west when it was as wild as possible would have been the best time to be alive. We are prisoners compared to that freedom.

What will you do if you have million dollars cash with you?
Blow it on traveling. Easy come easy go if you ask me. Just make the best time possible out of it.

Now that this interview is done, what will you do next?
Sleep. Wake up tomorrow. Skate my way from jackson hole to LA then up through California to Portland, OR then back to jackson. Bout 3000 miles. Gunna be quite the adventure!!!

Thank you for your time.
