Scientific Underground Camber Ideologies

THERE IS SIMPLY NO WRONG CAMBER LINE

Camber comes in all shapes and heights, from traditional camber, to early riser noses, and now fully rockered decks.
For those who need a more precise definition than just “rocker”, it depends on the board and what its geometry and flex is designed to do.
To shed some light on camber ideology, Amplid produces 5 (!) distinct camber lines. Each with its own unique performance advantage for specific terrain and/or riding style.

popcamber
Popcamber

Developed over decades, loved and approved by most riders, the traditional camber line will simply add the most pop into your ride. It requires a bit more control and precision than any other alternative camber, but gets the power load of your body straight onto the ground so you can be up in the air.

flatliner
Flatliner

Some call it „the best of both worlds“, some call it „the camber line for the indecisive”. However our zero camber geometry a.k.a. “FlatLiner” combines both tail and nose pop for ollie power in the park with precise edge control and catch free turning.

jibrocker
Jibrocker

A clear rocker starting under your bindings towards tip and tail - this is the right profile to make your life on boxes and picnic table an easy one. Facilitates butter action and balance on rails. Smears all spins to the very end.

midriser
Midriser

This reverse camber geometry provides a surfy feel for your all mountain mission with a very loose tail and nose, without adding that non-elastic feel of a sloppy french toast. Our MidRiser provides a decambered-feel during turns on groomers and an “ever-float sensation” while cruising in the pow.

camrock
Camrock

A slight positive camber under your foot for precise edge control with a scooped nose for all-time floatation in the fresh. Along with a rockered tail for a catch free and loose surfy feeling the CamRock is born.
